  Gardens were immaculate and great man at the entrance was welcoming informative and jovial.
  
  This restaurant management's team lets down the entire experience . Seated with poor reception, I thought the staff were supposed to be waiters not the customers.
  
  The wait staff avoided eye contact so as not to serve and seemed very stressed despite very few clientele. At $30 a meal, completely unsophiscated range of food on offer and unfriendly clumsy wait staff to charge this exorbitant amount.
  
  We thought wait times and poor staff can only mean the food would be terrible despite a hungry family.
  
  So we got up and left.
  
  Do not waste your time or money here.

  I am a tourist and wanted to enjoy my experience at the Botanical gardens. After having a great time exploring the garden I was left with a disappointing experience at this cafe.
  
  Closing time for Sunday was 4pm.
  I was seated at 2:45 and was told by waiter that I could only order from the dessert menu as the waiter stated the kitchen had "turned off everything". I ordered cake and tea, complying with the waiting staff.
  After 20 minutes I noticed another customer had ordered hot food from the kitchen and was seated. The food arrived and I was confused why I was told otherwise.
  
  Possibly lack of communication between staff but this left my family and I feeling unsatisfied and hungry. This was brought to the attention of the staff when we paid for the bill but nothing was done to reassure us, instead we were told that "we should have asked another waiter if we could order from the kitchen".
  
  The cafe has a nice view though.
